Heidi Zeiger studied photojournalism, art, and women’s
studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She later as-
sisted Brooklyn-based photographer Eugene Richards, work-
ing on his book Stepping Through the Ashes, an elegy to those lost
on September 11th in New York City. Her love of photography and human interest stories have taken her to Jordan, Hong Kong, and the former Soviet state of Georgia. More of Heidi’s work can be seen at www.heidizeiger.com.
