Heidi Zeiger studied photojournalism, art, and women’s
studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She later as
sisted Brooklyn-based photographer Eugene Richards, work
ing on his book Stepping Through the Ashes, an elegy to those lost
on September 11th in New York City. Her love of photography a
nd human interest stories have taken her to Jordan,
Hong Kong, and the former Soviet state of Georgia. More of
