A Risky Issue

Issue 13: Confession was just mailed out to you all, our readers. And like every issue, I hope you were delighted when you opened your mailbox and caught a glimpse of the big black "R," the creamy-white paper, and the brilliant art gracing our cover (Aaron Lee Benson's). But I am also a little anxious about how this issue will be recieved--its content full of confessions which are startlingly honest and some of which aren't too pretty. . . .

Are You a Patron?

In our world today, it does not seem that Christians are intensely and purposefully engaged in the arts.  Tim Keller, a pastor of a large church in Manhatten, has spent years creating an environment within his church that encourages creativity and pushes the members to become patrons of the arts.  Check out his article titled "Are You a Patron?" It is an incredible resource for those ready to question their involvement in literature, dance, music, theatre, and other forms of art.
